They are a very raw and real indie rock band who are Definity a lot more than shouty shitty indie. If you like early artic monkeys you will absolutely love these guy. HIGHWAVES are a creative collective that have crafted a sound that races from spacious to suffocating, combining the dark aggression of grunge with dreamlike washes reminiscent of shoe-gaze. They have sat down with me to discuss growing up in a northern town.
